Lateral was asked to develop an online hub to promote the second series of Five's biggest hit drama. Over the course of series two we filled the microsite with weekly episode reviews and downloads. Interviews, features and a forum engaged fans while a MySpace page with a weekly blog and Five's hugely successful Manhunt competition pushed readers back to the website. The online design maintained a big-screen, cinematic feel.
Site traffic was 15% higher than to similar Five sites. Over 12,000 dedicated fans entered the Manhunt competition, while the forum was always bubbling with debate and anticipation. We had over 300 MySpace friends and received over 700,000 video views.
