To launch the popular Nintendo DS Japanese game online in the UK, Lateral was asked to come up with a campaign that let the target audiences – pre-teens and early teens – find out about key features of the game.
The solution was to create a rich media overlay in the shape of a puppy book, which enabled users to explore and interact with features of the game directly. We then took two approaches. For the pre-teens we focused was on the game features to do with training the cyber puppy. For the young teens the focus was more on the style aspects of the game and the celebrity pooches craze.
