Lateral was asked to develop the online presence for Stella Artois, marketing the brand’s established relationship with the movies. Stella wanted to “own” film on the web, and needed a hub for all their offline film-related activity.

Lateral took the approach that while it isn’t possible to own film on the web, you can own film voting. We developed the Stellas, the most comprehensive consumer polling system on the web, providing a cutting edge glimpse into the opinions of avid filmgoers. Votes were cast directly on the site or by a customised email service and added in to ratings from partner film sites.
