Case Study: Purple Ronnie's 'Ronnie World'

We worked with Coolabi to relaunch the Purple Ronnie website and generate brand awareness amongst a digital audience. Our vision for the new site was to create a destination for users to engage with the brand and create their own content that could be shared and distributed amongst friends.

The website, Purple Ronnie World is at the heart of the brand’s digital activity. On arrival in Purple Ronnie World users are invited to create their own “Ronnie”, a totally unique character that they can style as they choose and use in the content they create via the site. The World itself is composed of 15 different environments that the user can explore, these relate to different times of the year and key seasonal events. Within the different environments users can interact with the content and create scenes which they can populate with characters, poems and props before sending to their friends.

The initial digital promotion resulted in over 20,000 Valentine’s cards being sent via the site. We plan to develop the site further to enable user generated content to be integrated with Facebook and printed on T-Shirts and other Purple Ronnie merchandise.
